delete_comment

Access and behavior

Write or Administrator OAuth consent and a member/administrator team role are required. Tools are listed and callable only when the current grant and role permit them.

Authors can delete their own comments. Human administrators can moderate with sufficient permission; OAuth clients can delete only their owner’s comments. Children move to the deleted comment’s parent, receive new versions, and retain their text. Comments cannot be edited.

Confirm the exact target and consequence with the user before calling this tool.
